All information in one place

Royal Agrifirm Group is one of the largest producers of animal feed in Europe. They have implemented SAP Sales Cloud with the help of Acorel. Because of this, Agrifirm can store all important information from members, customers, and relations in one central place in the cloud. Livestock farmers often purchase their feeds from several suppliers and are constantly looking to see which supplier delivers feed with the best profit. Ron van de Water, Project Manager at Agrifirm: “Only if we know everything about livestock farmers, we can continuously position the best products and services to develop into a Trusted Advisor.” In addition, SAP Sales Cloud integrates seamlessly with the existing SAP landscape of Agrifirm.

Extensive remote services

Agrifirm inquired at SAP which partner in the Netherlands is most experienced at implementing SAP Sales Cloud. Van de Water: “That turned out to be Acorel. In a short period of time, we have created a platform with Acorel in which all parties involved work integrally together and share information easily.’ But Acorel is more than an implementation party for Agrifirm. To continue to get the most out of the system, Agrifirm now uses Acorel’s Managed Services: extensive remote services that varies from service, support, maintenance, and monitoring to the optimization of systems, portals and mobile applications.

Smooth updates, speed, and flexibility

Hank Lucas, Information Manager E-business CRM at Agrifirm: “If new software updates are available, Acorel will find out exactly what the impact will be for us. As a result, updates are always smooth.” Starting up new projects is also very fast, because Acorel is so focused on business and technology. Lucas is also happy with the flexibility of Acorel: “Sometimes there is a need for more consultants and hours, and sometimes less. This flexibility is there because I am not tied to a fixed subscription amount per month.”

The results are impressive. Van de Water: “We see plenty of opportunities for further expansion in the future.” Lucas: “Acorel has ensured that we have acquired much more knowledge. In addition, they have helped us to reduce the number of tickets by about 75 to 80 percent.”
