Leaseweb chooses SAP and Acorel

Hosting provider Leaseweb Netherlands and SAP partner Acorel officially launched the implementation project of SAP Sales Cloud on Monday, January 11. This makes the organization the first Dutch Cloud Service Provider to work with the SAP cloud solutions for Customer Relationship Management. The service companies of Leaseweb in Europe, Asia and the United States provide cloud hosting for more than 17,500 customers, ranging from independent internet professionals to Hallmark and AFAS Software. Due to explosive growth in recent years, Leaseweb Netherlands now needs systems that can support the processes on a large scale.

First, the administrative backbone was tackled, with the implementation of SAP ERP (go-live at the end of 2016). And from January 11, 2016, the implementation of SAP’s Customer Experience (CX) cloud solution was also added. Bjorn Tammer: “With the integration of SAP ERP and SAP CX, we lay the perfect foundation for efficient work processes and sustainable customer relationships.”

One platform for sales and service

The choice for SAP Sales and Service Cloud as CRM system was an easy one. “SAP Sales and Service Cloud fits our IT environment and our goal to be a reliable, valuable partner for our customers,” explains Tammer. Soon everything can be recorded in the CRM system in the cloud. From contact moments to appointments, and from questions to wishes. This creates a complete and up-to-date profile of each individual customer. Tammer: “It gives our sales and service professionals the right tools to respond to the specific needs of customers. We expect that this will make our services even more reliable.”

Leaseweb started searching for a suitable implementation partner. This partner had to be able to switch quickly and be a specialist in the field of customer experience. After a selection process, Leaseweb unanimously chose Acorel. “I believe in the best-of-breed approach,” says Tammer. “And Acorel is the specialist in the Netherlands in the field of customer experience and CRM systems.” This feeling was further confirmed when it turned out that the responsible account managers of SAP are also very enthusiastic about Acorel.

A unique foundation for customer experience

The implementation process that kicked off this week can certainly be called innovative and unique. On the one hand, because Leaseweb Netherlands is the first Cloud Service Provider in the Netherlands to work with SAP Sales and Service Cloud. And on the other hand, because of the functionalities that are present in the system. Joost Goudriaan, account manager at Acorel: “We have put together the most suitable solution by means of demos and intensive workshops. SAP Sales and Service Cloud will form the foundation for customer relationship management, and connections will be made to Leaseweb’s chat tool, telephone solution, marketing solution and social media channels.” The employees of Leaseweb Netherlands then have access to current customer information anytime and anywhere via the cloud.
